Hello! I’m Caitlin, and I am an aspiring author. I am working on a Historical Romance, although in the future I would like to pursue writing in Young Adult and Middle Grade genres.
I was born in New Jersey and three years later I was living in Fort Benning, Georgia. After living there for a year or so, my family moved back to NJ before ultimately moving to Germany. (It was then that I discovered that I do not like flying anywhere. Although I did get my pilot wings, after a stewardess brought my brother and me to visit the captain).
From 89-91 I lived in Butzbach & Garbentich, Germany. While I was too young to really experience living in Germany, I did attend kindergarten there. The two things I miss most about Germany is Deutsch-Eis (German ice cream), Phantasialand, Food, Countryside . . . . (okay that is more than two things. I miss everything about Germany). In ’91, my family moved back to New Jersey.
Today, I still live in New Jersey. This year I hope to complete a Master’s Degree in American History and maybe going on to teach.
I love books. From the moment I was able to read, I don’t think I ever put down a book. They say you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover, but I’m guilty of doing just that on many occasions. I discovered historical romance about four years ago and ever since I’ve been hooked.
I LOVE the New York Yankees, New Jersey Devils and the Green Bay Packers.
On weekdays, I can be found reading and scribbling away in a notebook. I usually get an inspiration for a story at the strangest times. On weekends, I’m catching up on t.v. shows that I missed or watching a really good movie. I firmly believe that every book and movie should have a happy ending.
Well, this is me in a nutshell. If you want to know more, feel free to ask questions.
