I’m really excited to rejoin the blogging world.  What better way than to start fresh with a new blog?  Some of you know me from Twitter, some of you know me from Facebook, some of you don’t know me at all and some of you know me in person. So without further ado let me introduce myself briefly ….

My name is Caitlin and I’m from the Jersey Shore.  I’m currently pursuing a MA degree at Southern New Hampshire University.

I’m working on writing my first novel, a historical romance set during World War II. There is just something so intriguing about that time period. While writing my first “masterpiece”, I’ve discovered that it isn’t as easy as it may look. I’m finding that it is a long and lengthy process. When I think a chapter is perfect, when I go back, I find many things I don’t like about it.

I’m also working on a Romantic Suspense that’s targeted for Harlequin’s Love Inspired Suspense line.

I love books. From the moment I was able to read, I don’t think I ever put down a book. They say you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but I’m guilty of doing just that on many occasions. I discovered historical fiction about four years ago and ever since I’ve been hooked. There is just something so appealing about reading fiction with a historical basis to it.
